Valentina has been one of our loyal readers since the very beginning. I have had the fun of perusing her edgy wardrobe and featuring a reinvented ghost, and also going up to to Bal Harbour with her, looking for that special Louis Vuitton wallet or to order the latest coveted Chanel bag.

This time, while packing for her summer in Europe, she discovered a pair of simple khaki shorts by Prada, which she only wore once before. She asked me to propose her three looks for her next trip to Cala di Volpe in Sardinia. Keeping in mind that life in the Emerald Coast requires its own level of chicness, even if you're only wearing a bikini and pareo (which is the majority of the day), we restyled her shorts so that Valentina could balance elegance with fun. Frankly, combining simple khaki shorts with pieces out of a designer-rich closet is not as easy as you may think; there are simply too many choices. But the fact that Valentina has to pack for this trip, made it a bit easier. Here are three "packable" options.

A Quick Morning Errand
