Flats with Evening Wear
The international news was chicness galore this weekend between the Venice Biennale, the French Open and the Grand Prix in Monte Carlo. Evening events included juiciest list of royals and noble heirs. With each event, there was one common denominator: the girls who stole the scene were wearing flat sandals. This might be new to the French and Italian Rivieras, but it is an oft ignored habit in our “Southern Riviera”.
I am slowly growing obsessed with how elegant and understated the combination of an evening look with flat sandals. So obsessed that I started pursuing the concept in my own closet. Here are four looks that I particularly loved.
