Interview

Miami Meets Brazil

Ailette Abreu loves shoes. She also loves Brazil – particularly the sexy, bold vibrance of Brazilian fashion. So it would seem only natural that this daughter of a shoe importer would, after accompanying her father on a trip to Brazil, decide to start her own line.

Abreu started Tren'D, a Miami-based fashion house, in 2007 and launched Aily V: Made in Brazil, the company's first line, later that year. Since then, the house has expanded threefold, and the lines Aily V: Made in Brazil, Cristofoli by Aliy V and Primp and Proper by Aily V are now in boutiques all over the country.

The lines have since garnered a huge following among women of all ages who love their colorful wedges, flats and heels. Take a look! And if you fall in love, you can get your own pair at the following Miami boutiques: The Dressing Room, Essence Boutique, MM Couture, and Solemate, and online at VidaModa.
