So while practically every place around town (and possibly even your man, too) prepares themselves for the pre-game pre-parties and post-game wrap-ups, you're without a doubt looking for something else to do. This Friday he presents a showcase of leading dubstep DJs to the newly re-opened Eve - remember when it was White Room? Well, if you haven't been back since the renovation, the club has undergone a luxe face-lift, so to speak. And even if you're not a huge fan of dubstep, you can't deny that the beats beg you to dance. Which is exactly what you need on a Friday night.

The Lucky Lace Dress from French Connection is a retro-take on your classic LBD, but sexy too. The shape is a sleek shift, but the sheer lace overlay shows a little more skin. In honor of the Chinese New Year, Miss Yip Chinese Café and Buck15 are celebrating with a three-day affair they’re calling Shanghai Nights. Expect DJ’s Daisy D and Jenni Foxx, 2 for 1 drink specials, and the traditional “lion dance” of the new year. We always like Miss Yip for a low-key dinner, but we’re excited to see the off-Lincoln spot turn it out for their New Year.
