The holidays are here and along with them come your single most pressing fashion dilemma – the holiday party dress. We know you've got a closet full of dresses from parties past, and you could dust one of them off and wear it again this year, but why would you want to do that when there are so many fun party dresses to be had?

With so many party dresses popping up at our favorite retailers, a common theme we’re currently coveting is the disco party dress. We’re talking a whole lot of shine, sequins, lamé, and playful silhouettes. Take cue from some of the most innovative designs to end this year on a stylish note.

Channel your inner disco diva, or disco ball itself with this sequined number. Nothing is more flattering than a cinched waistband, and this dress comes fully equipped! Make this piece your own by adding your own playful belt and delicate accessories. We love the wide boat-neck and to-the-elbow sleeves. If you’re looking for a lady-like ensemble that will keep all eyes on you, this is a dress worth slipping into.

If you’re looking to tone down the full-fledged disco and up the ante on a party silhouette, try the Strapless Belted Mini Dress by Aidan Mattox. This piece is a sequin party up top with a demure, more sophisticated look at the bottom. We love the deep blue hue and delicate organza mix. Feel full-on feminine with its ruffled self tie belt.

If a little black dress is more your style, try this updated classic with a disco twist. The Shyla Sequin and Mesh Dress by Cynthia Steffe features an asymmetrical neckline and fitted silhouette. This dramatic piece oozes sex appeal while still looking elegant. Pair this dress with some simple strappy sandals and a box clutch.

Our last pick leaves you dripping in that gold lamé we saw all over the runway. The Scoop Neck Party Dress by ADAM features a fitted top with a skirted bottom. We love the jersey panels at the sides, leaving an artful color block design. As if this dress didn’t make us feel royal enough, it’s fully lined in the softest silk. Wear this pretty piece with caged booties and rings galore.
