Chanel is known for being both timeless and elegant, and as Coco Chanel once said, “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.” Each season, Karl Lagerfeld has taken on the legacy to do just that. Lagerfeld continues to bring classic Chanel styles current with his creative vision and innovation, which was exceptionally exhibited in the Fall 2010 show.

This season, the Chanel look is rich with furs, exotics, florals and gold. Now, we know you're not going to run around draped in fur, but you can take a cue from Chanel's fabulous Fall 2010 runway show to look as rich as you feel.

To achieve this look with some stackable bangles, any pick from House of Harlow 1960 will do, but we’re coveting the new Garter Bracelet. We love the hook and eye closure and vintage detail on the hardware. If you love this trend, but you’re on a budget, try the Chain Cuff by Madewell. Pile this golden bracelet on one or both of your wrists with other chains and wraps for balance.

Another trend Chanel executed as often and lovely as the bangles, is pairing suede booties with their outfits. We love the suede and chic, open-toe design of the Peep-Toe Suede Platform Ankle Boots by Elizabeth and James. Suede is definitely a must when considering your booties this season. Another beautifully executed suede bootie is the Two Gore Suede Bootie by Pelle Moda. This sky-high pair of black booties could have been taken straight from the Chanel runway, because you can truly wear these platforms with anything (and actually, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea!)

As always, Chanel combines luxury with understated style. From the structure of their clothes to layers of jewelry and even a red pouty lip, everything about each element in the Fall 2010 Chanel show encompass a look that is richly sublime. But what about the bedhead hair? We think this keeps each look in balance and plan to try out this just-out-of-bed look soon.
